Immerse yourself in the historic setting of Oxford Castle & Prison, as we bring this timeless tale to life through song, dance and the beautiful lyricism of Shakespearean language.

The story begins with two quarreling sets of young lovers who flee to the woods to escape Athenian law. As their arguments continue, the inhabitants of the forest begin to take centre stage and we are introduced to Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the fairies, whose quarrels will result in the King playing a trick on his wife by making her fall in love with Bottom, who has been transformed into an Ass. Add into this the mischievous Puck, a magical purple flower and a group of working men preparing a play of the tragic love-story of Pyramus and Thisbe and you have the perfect recipe for chaos as the characters’ lives intertwine in a comedic farce that will have you in stitches.

You’ll be transported to a world of magic and imagination as love and mischief collide in this enchanting theatrical experience.
