Valentine’s Evening Tour and Mead Tasting

Join a costumed guide on an intimate after hours tour of Oxford Castle & Prison! Journey through the prison cells and hear the stories of Oxford Prison’s most infamous lovers; the daring heroine Elizabeth Lilburn, the infamous but sophisticated Mary Blandy and the dashing highwayman Isaac Darkin.

Climb to the top of St George’s Tower to take in the beautiful views across the city of dreaming spires, then complete the experience by venturing down into the historic St George’s Crypt to sample different flavours of mead and make a cocktail from the worlds oldest alcoholic drink.

18+ only, feel free to dress up, but sensible footwear recommended!
