Join our team as a Guest Services Team Member at Oxford Castle & Prison

Oxford Castle & Prison watches over the dreaming spires of the historic city of Oxford. From the heights of the Saxon St George’s tower to the depths of its 900 year-old Norman crypt. Our costumed tour guides lead guests on a 1000-year journey, telling the history of this ancient site through the stories of the Castle & Prison’s most infamous inhabitants; amongst them Empresses, Kings, monks and prisoners.

As a member of our guest services team, you will deliver outstanding experiences for our guests ensuring their time with us is a memorable one.

Using your vibrant personality, you will greet and host our guests giving them the warmest of welcomes and a reason to return.

We are looking for team members with sparkle and passion, that are genuinely interested in providing high quality guest service and telling the stories of our unique attraction. A team playing attitude is a must.

Contract: Zero Hour Fixed Term Contracts Available. More hours are available in peak seasons. We expect our team to be flexible and be available to work on weekends, seasonal events and bank holidays.

Fixed term contract (19th May 2025 – 31st October 2025)

Salary: £12.60 per hour
