Join in the Culture Crawl!

Maggie’s Oxford Culture Crawl is an 8-mile part night walk, part cultural adventure taking place on 23^rd September to raise funds for the Maggie’s Oxford. The Maggie’s Oxford Centre provides free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer, their families and friends in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Built in the grounds of the Churchill Hospital, the Centre is a warm and welcoming place with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need to find their way through cancer.

Claire Marriott, Centre Head of Maggie’s Oxford, said:  “After 10 years of spectacular events in London it’s wonderful to have a Maggie’s Culture Crawl taking place right here, taking in the sights and cultural gems of Oxford. As a charity Maggie’s Oxford relies on donations to continue to develop our unique, high quality programme of support. I really hope the local community gets behind the event to support as many people as possible who are affected by cancer”.

The event will take in 8 miles of the city including The Story Museum, Magdalen College, Oxford Castle Unlocked and contemporary art gallery, OVADA; all whilst raising as much money as possible for Maggie’s Oxford to continue to support people with cancer and their family and friends. There will be food and drink stops along the route, along with musical and theatrical surprises for all to encounter! The evening will conclude at midnight at the Maggie’s Oxford Centre, where there will be a magical party to celebrate our participants’ achievements.
