Our newsletter is the best way to find out about all our events; especially live Shakespeare during the summer, and our sell-out kids activities, like Knight School, Potion Making and, of course, our Christmas Trail!

This year, we’re giving away tour and event tickets to lucky subscribers, so if you’d like a chance to bag spaces on our tour, OR one of our fantastic events, then this is your chance!

Every month, we’ll be picking a name from our list of subscribers, and the lucky winner will be able to choose either

A family visit to our tour: including two adult admissions and two child admissions (5-15 years old):

Two free spaces on an event of your choice throughout 2024, from Knight School, to Potions, Spooky Tour, Christmas Trail and more (Check out our full list of events here)*

Competition Terms & Conditions

1. By subscribing and entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age (staff members are excluded from the draw).
3. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
4. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
5. The prize draw is free to enter.
6. The prize draw will include those currently on our mailing list and all new subscribers up to Midday on the 1^st of each month.
7. Entries after that time and date will thus not be included in the draw.
8. To enter the prize draw simply subscribe to our mailing list via our website: www.oxfordcastleandprison.co.uk/newsletter
9. The prize will be a choice of two adult tickets, and two child tickets (age 5-15) for our standard tour, OR two spaces on an Oxford Castle & Prison event, subject to availability.
10. The prize does not include our catered events, (up to and including Valentines Day Dine in a Cell, Murder Mystery Dinners, Jailbreak, Murder Mystery or Private Evening Tour.)
11. The winner will be drawn at random.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable. Therefore, no cash alternatives will be offered.
13. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
14. The decision of Oxford Castle & Prison, regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding. Therefore no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. The winner will be notified after the 1^st of each month via the email provided during subscription.
16. Oxford Castle & Prison will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
17. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize. Oxford Castle & Prison reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
18. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Oxford Castle & Prison for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

20.  All personal information shall be used in accordance with Oxford Castle & Prison’s Privacy Notice.
21. Oxford Castle & Prison reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
22. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
