All tickets are non-refundable. Full pre-payment must be made for all people visiting Oxford Castle & Prison.
You can change the date and time of your booking up to 6 hours before your tour time by going to change my booking. Up to 2 free changes per ticket. The transfer of your booking is subject to availability and cannot be used for any special events or products from our shop. You can reschedule your visit to a date within the next 12 months.

Please note, all tickets booked using a discount code are non-transferrable.
Standard fees for cancellation are 100% of the booking. To notify us of potential cancellation of your booking, please contact us.
We are unable to apply multiple discounts to a single ticket, and you will be charged only the ticket price with the largest discount applied. Note this also applies to early booking discounts.
Children are welcome to visit Oxford Castle & Prison. Children under 5 years of age are not be permitted access to St George’s Tower due to health and safety regulations. A parent or guardian will need to wait at the base of the tower with them. Once the tour group returns from the Tower, you are then able to re-join your group as the tour continues.

We ask all visitors to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled tour start time. Oxford Castle & Prison retains absolute discretion as to whether visitors arriving late for their tour time will be allowed entry. Late-arriving visitors will be charged for their tour. Standard fees for late arrival are 100% of the booking.

Due to the historical nature of the building, prams & pushchairs do not fit through the doors. We request therefore that you leave them in the designated area in the Gift Shop. Suitcases and large rucksacks can not be taken on the tour and these can be left in one of our lockers, located within the gift shop. Lockers are charged at £1 which is non-refundable. Personal belongings must under no circumstance be left in public areas. We reserve the right to remove any personal belongings left on site.
Please be advised photography is permitted at Oxford Castle & Prison and we invite you to share your photos with us by tagging Oxford Castle & Prison.
All extras have to be redeemed on the day of the visit. Extras are non-refundable.
