Adopt a Dragon this Easter!

  • Adopt a Dragon Easter Event from 7th to 18th April 2025
  • Daily Sessions: 10.00|12.00|14:30
  • Recommended for ages 5-11

Join our Dragon Masters this Easter holiday at Oxford Castle & Prison!

Decorate your dragon egg, make dragon masks, construct your own nest, then bring your very own dragon home with you.

Each ticketed child will take home their egg, nest, crafts and soft toy dragon along with a certificate of adoption and a fact sheet for them to fill in for their fiery friend.

This is the perfect thing to do in Oxford with kids this Easter holiday, for children who love to be creative – and who love dragons too!

 

Plan your day

The first accompanying adult goes free. Additional adults can be booked for an extra £2pp. Ticket covers entry to the event only.

You do not need to book general admission tickets to take part in this event, but if you would like to join a tour to see the rest of the castle and prison, tickets can be booked here  – we recommend leaving 20 mins between the event and tour.

Please note that due to steep steps and one-way access, children under 5 are unable to climb St George’s tower.
