Come and meet Santa at Oxford Castle and Prison

Santa is coming to town! Meet Father Christmas and enjoy fun festive activities at Oxford Castle & Prison.

Join us for a magical trip along our Christmas Trail, where our friendly elves will warmly welcome you at St. George’s Tower! Don’t forget to ask about their names and the special story behind them – it’s one of their favourite tales to share with visitors.

Once you’re all set and raring to go, the elves will lead you to their fun-filled workshops, where you can create three delightful decorations to take home:

  • Adorable Penguin Baubles
  • Creative Button Trees
  • Charming Festive Card Garlands

When you’ve finished your lovely decorations, you’ll also have the chance to meet Santa himself and share your Christmas wishes.

Santa will even tell if you’re on the naughty or nice list. But don’t worry if you find yourself on the naughty list; he always says there’s plenty of time to switch to nice!

Before you leave, if you have any last-minute Christmas letters to send to the North Pole, Santa has also brought along a magical postbox. Just pop your letter inside and it magically transports it to the North Pole that very night so Santa can read it before Christmas Eve.

  • Recommended ages are 3-7 years.
  • The experience lasts around 50 minutes – 1 hour.
  • Additional adult tickets are available to book at checkout.
  • Please note that the experience is separate to our Guided Tours. The experience includes all locations at the Castle & Prison except the top of St George’s Tower as we are unable to provide access to children under 5.
