Join us for a night of Comedy at the Castle!

As one of Oxford’s most unique and atmospheric venues, we’re proud to announce that on Friday 16^th May, we will be a night of comedy and dramedy.

In collaboration with Jericho Comedy and Oxford Brooks University,  Comedy club legend Alex Farrow together with a fellow comedian, will open the proceedings with a stand-up comedy show, followed by a historical…. or rather a hysterical ‘late night’ talk show with real life characters from Oxford Castle & Prison’s past.

Isaac Darkin aka Dumas  

The original dandy highwayman, who spent his cash on looking flash and grabbing your attention…especially if you were a married woman of means who shared his insatiable appetite.

Pen pal of Florence Nightingale. Felicia was a philanthropist, prison reformer, friend of the poor and sex workers.
