Time: Tours from 10:30am until 4:30 Mon-Fri and 5pm Weekends

Duration: 50 Minutes

Throughout December all our daily tours will be led by lantern light!

As the nights draw in, join our guides on a festive and atmospheric lantern-lit tour of the history of Oxford Castle & Prison.

In this seasonal treat you’ll hear the real stories of Oxford’s past, see the wintery lights and night sky of Oxford City from atop the 950-year-old St George’s tower, then delve deep down into the cells and crypt by flickering lantern light.

But hurry, our lantern tours will only be running until December 31st.
