We are delighted to be welcoming you to Oxford Castle & Prison.

Anyone visiting Oxford Castle & Prison does so subject to the following terms and conditions.

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking your tour.

Provisional

All bookings remain provisional until a deposit has been received. All provisional bookings are released after 7 days if no deposit is received.

Confirmation

To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit will be required to secure it.

Amendments

All changes to a group booking must be received at least 7 days in advance by contacting us and are subject to availability. Any amendments requested within 7 days of your booking are subject to availability and you will be charged a rebooking fee.

Arrival/ Late arrival

We ask all visitors to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled booking time. Oxford Castle & Prison retains absolute discretion as to whether visitors arriving late for their booking time will be allowed entry. Late arriving visitors will be charged for their booking. Standard fees for late arrival are 100% of the booking. Bookings will not be transferred or refunded should a group arrive late for their booking time.

Pre-bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. Bookings should be made at least 14 days in advance. Any booking enquiry that is within 14 days is at the discretion of Oxford Castle & Prison and full payment must be made immediately to secure your booking.

Payment

Full payment will be required at least 14 days in advance of your booking. If payment is made by bank transfer you must use your booking number as reference.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance of your booking by contacting us. All cancellations within 14 days of your booking will be charged a cancellation fee. Standard fees for cancellation are 100% of the booking.

Jailbreak

There is a minimum booking charge of 10 people for this experience. Groups arriving with fewer numbers than booked will be charged for all tickets.

Murder Mystery

There is a minimum booking charge of 15 people for this experience. Groups arriving with fewer numbers than booked will be charged for all tickets.

Private Evening Tours

There is a minimum booking charge of 10 people for this experience. Groups arriving with fewer numbers than booked will be charged for all tickets

Photography

Please be advised photography is permitted at Oxford Castle & Prison and we invite you to share your photos with us by tagging Oxford Castle & Prison.

Extras

Any pre-ordered extras (for example corkage, catering, DJ hire) need to be finalised and paid for 7 days in advance of the booking date and are subject to availability.

Oxford Castle & Prison reserves the right to refuse entry on to the attraction or remove any person who:

• Arrives late for their tour
• Is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Behaves in a manner which compromises the safety and enjoyment of our team or visitors
• Uses verbal or physical threat or insults towards any member of the team or any other visitor
• Does not respect the historic nature of the building
